Right On, You know I want more man. I have an off season for trout from Oct. to Jan. and plan to do a fair amount of tying, want to help me out a bit? Just a few good patterns and when/how to fish would help me a ton. Hope the new job is going well.

Winona, I do both of those techniques with erratic strips. The bass seem to go bat-shit nuts for the bigger streamers when retrieved erratically.

Tomorrow, I should have a few warm water patterns up, if I can find some time.

Nice work, looks like alot of fun. I'm curious regarding the technique used when fishing still water with the drop off situation. Did you cast straight out beyond where the bass hold and let the fly sink a ways and strip it in to the shallows? Do you cast along the shallows standing parallel with the drop offs?

Great pictures, I'm looking forward to seeing that streamer pattern. Peace.

winona, thanks for the kind words. I will be putting more up this week. It has been kind of hectic around here lately. I will do as you asked and post some specifics about how to fish the flies in conditons/how/where/when and why. Until then, take care!

I dig it man! I need to work on my warm water fly fishing. Keep posting the flies you tie and it would help me greatly if you explained how/where/conditions the flies should be fished. I will be swinging back here, take care.
